Erica is a very compassionate and smart heroine who has been tragically abused. She truly is out to help others and has many interesting characteristics. I have read some of the other books that she is in, and out of all the characters I have read about so far only James and maybe Vincent in later books are good to her. All others are using her for their own gain.
I just wish she had a few true friends that would stand by her. Also the enemies should be getting their punishments….most of the time they get away.
Both her adoptive family and her real family use her…way too much.
Halfway through book 8 still love Erica but tired of her family abusing such a wonderful character.
Both pearl and all those who claim to love her are using her for their own gain and do not truly care about her. They stage an accident which almost kills her to get her out of the way for a few weeks. Also pearl keeps wanting to torture her for information….
James barely and Vincent are the only ones who care. Matilda wants to control her….they should appreciate her for who she is and they do not even though she is the one who saves them time and time again.
I love Erica and I hope she gets the happy ending she deserves. Erica carries the book and is such a wonderful character in all her books.
Erica Ennis. Lynn Jillian Kinsley. Erica Kinsley. ENZUS. A single, multifaceted character with so many sides you’ll wonder just who she really is. She is a woman. She is a child. Innocent and naïve, yet far too experienced with the darker side of life. Utterly brilliant, but with barely enough education to slip by. Other characters either love her or hate her and yet all to one degree or another fear her; what she knows and what she is capable of.
Forced to leave Marril as a result of severe thyanite poisoning, Erica ends up on beautiful yet technology deficient Quirni. All she wants is a quiet, simple life, a little bit of land and a few horses. What she gets is hatred and mobs of people chasing her through streets, back alleys and forests intent on killing her all because she looks uncannily like a cousin believed to have murdered over six thousand innocent people. The kindness of a single stranger sets her on a path across the settled lands just searching for a place where she can be safe. But what Erica doesn’t know is that her path has already been thoroughly mapped out for her by the Quirni Solar Defense Delegate. They care nothing for the life of a single woman except for what she can do to help further their own plans.
Once again Erica’s life is being manipulated by others. Little do they know the true depths to which she’ll go to reclaim control.
You will fall in love with Erica, Quirni, the book, and the entire series.
